Reminder To All Drift Artists and local community Arts supporters:This year's Drift AGM will be held Wednesday, April 8, at Heritage Hall. All current Drift members are strongly encouraged to attend and vote for your Board of Directors for the coming year. The Main Art Drift Society 2009 AGM 7 PM Heritage Hall 3102 Main Street There are several openings for new Directors. No experience is necessary- just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and contribute your time and skills to the local arts community. If you are committed to the mission of the Drift and have creative ideas and energy to contribute, please consider getting more involved. We are seeking artists, small business people on or near Main Street, and other interested community members to volunteer their time to the Drift Board. The term for directors is 3 years. To be eligible to vote or to stand for election to the Board of Directors, you must be an active member of the society. If you are an artist, and have not yet renewed your membership or wish to become a new member, here's a link to the artists' application form. For those who are not artists but wish to be a member of the Society, just fill out the Board of Directors' application form to indicate your intention to become a member and mail to the address below. An application form for all those interested in standing for election is available to download here.
