Third Notice! Renew Your Drift Membership for 2009 NOW! It's easy . . . Kevin Davies' art chosen Survey says . . . Call for New Drift Board members
| | Third Notice! Renew Your Drift Membership for 2009 NOW! It's easy . . .Thanks to the 22 Drift artists who have sent in their 2009 renewal! All Drift 2008 artists are invited to renew their Drift membership for 2009 before December 31 at the low early bird rate of $50.00. Feedback for the Drift 2008 has been overwhelmingly positive, and we expect next year to be even bigger & better. So if you want to be sure to be part of this successful and growing Main Street art community in 2009, renew now! To make it easier to register, payment can now be made through Paypal. Just click the button found on the Artists Log-in page , or on the Artists' registration form. Payment by cheque or cash is also fine. Mail cheques or cash to:
The Main Art Drift Society Box 19535 RPO Centrepoint Vancouver, BC V5T 4E7
Early renewal benefits for artists include: - No interruption in your Drift online presence. Your Drift web page will stay up if you renew by December 31, and will remain up until the end of 2009. You will continue to have the ability to change your images and profile (as much text as you wish), add your events to the calendar, and send in items for inclusion in the monthly newsletter.
- No need to submit another registration form for 2009. All your registration information is kept on file.
- Automatic entry to win great prizes form our sponsor donors.
- The knowledge that your fee will help the Drift 2009 get started with $$ in the bank so we can plan for next year more effectively.
Those who have not renewed and paid their fee by December 31 will be made "pending" on the website and their page will be removed until the renewal fee is received. NOTE: The fee will go up to $75.00 January 1 to March 31, 2009 and then will increase to $100.00 April 1 to June 30, 2009. New registrations will be taken after that date only if we have enough capacity. Don't wait 'til the last minute!!
Kevin Davies' art chosen The Main Art Drift Society presented a gift certificate for $500.00 to Clay Yandle of sharkbite art & design as a special thank you for all his hours of donated design work for the new Drift web site. The gift certificate was to "purchase any work of art by a Drift 2008 artist". Clay chose a piece of wood sculpture by artist Kevin Davies for his new office near Granville Island. Congratulations Kevin!
Survey says . . .Thirty-two artists have responded to the online survey with feedback to help us improve for next year. If you haven't had a chance to fill out the survey yet, we'd appreciate it if you'd take a minute to answer the questions and give us your opinion. Here's the link: Drift 2008 Artists Survey
