ALCHEMY
it was an insane idea,
it popped into my head and
IMPLODED
scattering
diamonds
and doubt
like shards of broken glass.
CONFOUNDED
I submitted to the kismet of desire,
a pathos of
passion,
penance
and sublime aloofness.
random gestures become patterns,
a curse becomes a gift,
dross turns to gold.

I will be exhibiting my paintings titled, Botticelli remix; Botticelli moderno, Voyage allegorique, inspired by at the artist residency I attended in May 2010, at La Macina di San Cresci in Chianti, Toscano, Italia, at an exhibition of my most recent work to be held May 2011.
