Experience

I worked for 20 years in London, England with design agencies and as a freelance typographer. 

   Projects over 20 years included 
• 10 years design & layout for the quarterly  
   Canada Today magazine
• co-ordinating a set of bus timetables 
   for each of 50 cities in the UK 
• Bus map study for London Transport 
  Clients included
• The Canadian High Commission 
• The Post Office 
• HMSO 
• The Royal Academy

Since returning to Canada in 1993, I have returned to painting and illustration. My primary medium is pen and ink. Other media include pencil, water soluable coloured pencil, oil pastel, acrylics, and some water colour. Subject matter is primarialy landscapes, in particular those with an archetectural element. My printmaking includes woodcuts, linocuts, silk screen, intaglio and aquatint. Current speciality: "House Portraits" of peoples homes, both in colour and in pen and ink.
